Hello everybody!

Well after a very, very long hiatus from Deviant art due to multiple sources i finally plan on making my triumphant return this year. More art, more pieces and more comment should be in my game plan as i tackle the online world or art media and friendships. Anywho im sorry to all those that i have been gone from and hope to be more active in the days to come! 
Artist Statement
The art I produce has a multitude of places of inspiration and influence and has ever been shifting and changing with time and practice. I feel that I have not yet developed a distinctive style but I do believe I have reoccurring themes in my work that helps define me.
I do my work to fulfill an inner desire to create images I see in my mind. I feel the need to express awe inspiring emotions with detailed, realistic creations of art. A lot of my art tries to define who I am and who I want to be. I am obsessed with the obscure fantasies of art and it comes out in a lot of my pieces. My choice of media is often influenced by my skill in the media and how I feel it would best convey the emotion I am seeking. I feel that my most skilled media is black and white pencil/charcoal illustrations. I feel I have a strong concept of light and how it influences our perceptions of reality.
Often the themes of my work are related to personal experiences that had happened close to the creation of a piece. I also derive a lot of my pieces from sayings, songs, and scriptures. In my work one may be able to see a progression of thought and change as I have advanced through the years.
My current work is varied and rather undirected to any one source of inspiration. I have my Blooms of Nations series in progress in which I am capturing a nation's spirit with an illustration of the nations symbolizing flower and a blade that originated in the region. But I am also currently working on several black and white pieces with strong figurative ties to them while improving my pencil techniques. And yet again I am working on other pieces that are very technically based on skeletal studies of Dinosaurs and recreating their form based on fact more than artist creativity.
Overall I am challenging myself to grow in my artistic abilities; I am really stressing my skills at realism and studying life to see how I may use it in my own art. I feel as I progress I am getting closer and closer to a style that is unquestioningly mine. A mix of realism and stylized life portrayed in epic scenes of light and dark, life and death, love and hate, dualities at their best.

I am completely open to doing commissions if anyone wants them from me, just send a note and we can talk about what you would like!
Right now im currently attnending Minot State U. in Nd for an art ed degree and a Biology ed degree, fun fun lots of money in my future, anyways, im a traditional artist by heart who has now gotten into alot of computer done art stuff. as far as anything else goes, if you want me to do you a drawing just ask and ill see if i want to or have time. im not too good yet at makeing people look like who there supposed to be but i can make them look like real people lol.
